Offering Cutting-Edge Catalytic Converter Recycling in the US & Beyond
When you work with Global Refining Group to recycle catalytic converters in the United States, you are partnering with a dependable industry leader. As such, we are able to offer our suppliers an impressive return rate, along with a number of services that make recycling your scrap catalytic converters a simple, convenient process.
How Does Our Catalytic Converter Recycling Process Work?
Catalytic converters are put through our unique processing system to thoroughly extract the PGM coated substrate from the shells. We use new technology to the industry and it is proven to be extremely effective.
Compared with decanning, an outdated procedure that is still used by other catalytic converter recycling companies, our process offers a much more efficient system. Decanning results in a percentage of the PGM materials being released into the air, onto shears and onto the floors of the recycling facilities, meaning they are not collected and the suppliers lose that portion of the profit.
With Global’s system, no catalyst materials are released into the air or elsewhere and the full contents of the catalytic converter shells is extracted.
